Belize is located on the Caribbean coast of Central America, bordering Mexico on the north side and Guatemala on the west side. Belize is one of the few English speaking countries in the region.
The tropical country of Belize is famous for its unspoiled nature, long beautiful Caribbean beaches and exotic wild life. Outside the coast of Belize you will find the second largest coral reef in the world, attracting divers and snorklers from from all over the world. The Caribbean sea also offers exciting fishing trips for both experienced sport fishermen as well as the beginner with plenty of tropical species to be found. Adventures you can enjoy are hikes into the jungle, a visit to Maya ruins, birdwatching or a boat trip to one of the caribbean cayes (islands).
The house is located in Sittee River Village, a small town along the Sittee River. It is a quiet place with the nearby river and jungle as main attractions. Sittee River is just beside the house and a boat dock belonging to the house is available for your own use. The Caribbean Sea is less than 2 km from the house and can be reached either by land or by boat.
The house has 6 beds, a restroom with shower, and a fully equipped kitchen. Two bicycles are also included and can be used freely during the period of rental. If you are a larger group you are also welcome to rent our smaller guest cabin which is suited for 2 persons and has its own cooking facilities and restroom with shower.
